I am a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, with over 26 years’ experience working nationally delivering large complex urban regeneration and infrastructure projects. I previously served as an Army Officer. I am married with two children, and I have lived in Leicestershire for 30 years.
I am a Trustee of the MADMAC charity MADMAC - Free money advice and debt management, Melton Mowbray. I am also a Trustee of the Sir John Sedley Educational Foundation Sir John Sedley Educational Foundation. I am a Churchwarden at St Andrews Church, Coston, an historic Grade 1 Listed building. I have been a member of the local police independent advisory group. I help support the Rainbows Hospice raise funds.
I am passionate about the countryside, rural economy, farming, and the community I represent. I enjoy working with the Parish Councils, our County Councillors and our local MP, Edward Argar, to help serve the community. In my spare time I enjoy walking my dogs, tennis, bridge and keeping an unruly flock of sheep.
