James Poland is standing for re-election as your Councillor for Syston Fosse. The floods that struck on January 6th were devastating. James has worked tirelessly to implement flood prevention and mitigation measures. He has consistently warned that overdevelopment poses a risk to our communities. Despite this, the Labour Party and the Green Party, currently running Charnwood Borough Council, continue developing our countryside.

James strongly opposes Labour Mayor Sir Peter Soulsby's decision to include Syston and Queniborough in Leicester City's expansion plans. He has initiated a campaign, supported by local residents, to stop this development. Please sign this petition to support James and the community. https://www.change.org/p/save-leicestershire-say-no-to-the-city-takeove…

James provides weekly updates on his role as a councillor. If you would like more information about James, please do not hesitate to contact him; he will happily chat with you.
